Chinese smartphone giant Xiaomi has just announced their latest product Hongmi against speculations that they were going to unveil the Xiaomi mi3 or Xiaomi Pad. Xiaomi Hongmi is actually the leaked smartphone “Xiaomi Red Rice“. The Hongmi is equipped with a quad-core processor and 1 GB of RAM. Looking at the price of its flagship Mi2s, it was no surprise that Xiaomi was going to price the mid-range Hongmi even cheaper. Hongmi is priced at 130$ in China. Too bad it’s not shipping outside China at the same price.Here is the official specification that was announced today:

Looks like the Hongmi will come with the 99 RMB worth Xiaomi piston earphones as seen in the press photos. Though the specs doesn’t mention microSD we assume the Hongmi will have it.
