Method 1 : Using the hardware buttons/keys

This method is one of the most used methods to take the screenshot. In this method we use hardware buttons to capture the screen. Just follow the steps as mention below:

  • First open the screen that you want to capture (You can capture anything of your phone E.g Home Screen,  app drawer, inside and outside of the app and many more)
  • Now, Press and hold the Power and Home buttons together at the same time.

You can hear the sound as soon as screenshot is taken and also you can see a quick image of screenshot. You can retrieve the fresh Screenshot from the notification screen and can view it, edit it and even share it.  Also, if you want to see all the screenshots that you have taken then Go to Gallery.

Method 2 : Using Gestures

This is the most interesting and even super easy method to take screenshot.  This option is pre-activated in the device. You can check whether the gesture is activated or not.

  • Go to Settings>> Scroll down and go to Advanced features
  • You will see on option saying “Palm swipe to capture”
  • Turn this option ONUsing Gestures

Now as you have activated the gesture, you can take the screenshot easily using gesture.

  • First open the screen that you want to capture (You can capture anything of your phone E.g Home Screen,  app drawer, inside and outside of the app and many more)
  • Now swipe your hand from one direction to another, either from right side of the screen or left side of the screen. You have to take hand from one edge of the screen to another edge of the screen.

You can go to Notification screen to view, edit or share the fresh screenshot.  To view all the screenshots go to Gallery.

How to take a Scrolling screenshot on Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge

This method of taking screenshot is very interesting and useful. It lets you take the screenshot of multiple pages. It will let you screenshot whole website, so that it can be used when ever and where ever you want. This method is like any other screenshot but covers awesome amounts of pages. This feature also let you edit or share instantly.

  • Go to Settings>> Scroll down and go to Advanced features
  • You will see on option saying “Smart capture”
  • Turn this option ON

To take Scrolling screenshot follow the given steps:

  • First take the screenshot using any methods mentioned above. Either press Power and Home Key or swipe the hand from one edge to another edge of the screen.
  • After the screenshot is taken, you will find an option “Capture More” on the bottom of the screen. Tap on it and the screen will scroll down automatically. Keep on tapping the option “Capture More” until you don’t finish or your content is not all covered.
  • On the side of the screen you can see how much you have covered the page. After you are done, you can press back option or anywhere on the screen (except the screenshot options) and stop the screenshot process. You will find the screen shot in the Gallery.
