Here’s how to fix Gmail notification problem on Note Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10 +.
Fix Gmail Notification Problem Note Galaxy on Note 10 and Note 10 +
Step 1: Open Gmail and go to its Settings. Tap on your account and find Notifications. Under Notifications, see if the settings are set to ‘All’. Also, under Inbox Notifications enable ‘Notify for every message’. If you have multiple Gmail accounts, do this for each one of them.
Step 2: While still on the Gmail Settings, go to Manage Labels. There, make sure all the important labels re syncing. If they are not, tap on each of the labels and then tap on Sync messages. Make sure you set the interval to your preference.
Step 3: Now, close the Gmail app and go to the System Settings. Find Device Care and tap on it. Go to Battery and then tap on Settings located at the top-right corner. Tap on Sleeping apps and check if Gmail is there on the list. If it is, tap on the trash icon to remove it from the list.
Step 4: Go back to the Settings menu and find Accounts and backup. Tap on it and then select Accounts. Tap on your Google account and make sure the toggle beside Gmail is enabled. If you have multiple Google Accounts linked to the device, do the above step for each one of them.
If nothing worked, make sure the Gmail app is up-to-date. Gmail should have rolled out the update to fix the bug.
