Troubleshoot Three: Uninstall Hangouts app updates.

Google Hangout cannot be uninstalled from the mobile as it is a systems app and there is no option for hangouts to be uninstalled from the device. Some application managers classify Hangouts app as a downloaded application but it cannot be uninstalled. What user can do is, they can uninstall the hangout updates and turn it back into its very first version. To uninstall app updates, follow these steps.

  1. Tap Settings.
  2. Tap Installed Application.
  3. Find and Tap on Hangouts.
  4. Tap on Uninstall updates.
  5. Press Ok to confirm.
