Samsung smartphones run on a modified version of Android OS. That is why it looks different. The change quite a lot of things which may look good on high-end flagships but may not on lower end devices that is a flagship. Samsung also includes some themes on their device which changes the elements of UI including icons and wallpapers. Another thing it changes is the clock that you see on the lock screen. By default, the time is shown on two rows; the hour is on the top and minutes on the bottom. This may not be the preferred look for some. Some may even say that it looks hideous. We’ll now anymore. Here’s how you can change lock screen clock.
Change lock screen clock
Changing the clock on the lock screen is pretty easy. All you need to do is change the current theme with the one that supports a different style of clock, i.e a horizontal style. It is easy to change the theme, but you need to find the one that changes the clock and displays the time on a single line. Follow the steps below;
Step 1: Open Settings.
Step 2: Go to Wallpaper and display. Find something similar if you do not see the exact same name.
Step 3: Select Theme option. This will open the app for downloading themes, wallpapers, and icons.
Step 4: Browse through the store till you find a theme that shows time in a single line. You can see the screenshots of the theme by tapping on it.
Step 5: Once you find the theme, download it. If you haven’t assigned a Samsung account, you need to do it now.
Step 6: Apply the theme and you’re good to go.
Note that changing the theme will change all the UI elements. There is nothing you can do about it. you can, however, change the icons to default style from the Icons tab.
