When Android 4.4 KitKat was released everyone was thrilled to find the changes it brought. It had many cool features, looked better and performed faster than previous versions of Android. However, some bugs are inevitable in any OS update and to fix such issues Android 4.4.1 and 4.4.2 has been released. Though there aren’t much android error codes popping up in Kitkat as compared to Jelly Bean, the Exchange ActiveSync or EAS sync error seems to be bothering a lot of users. However, there is an easy solution which seems to have worked for many users of Motorola, Nexus and Samsung Galaxy devices. This w ill fix issues for users who use Corporate sync with Exchange.

Exchange ActiveSync or EAS sync error in Android KitKat

Here are the easy steps to fix the EAS sync error in Android KitKat:

  • Go to system Settings >> Accounts >> Select “Corporate
  • Press your menu button or the three dots on the upper right screen >> Select “Sync Now”
  • Open up your notification window by swiping down from top of your screen.
  • There should be some kind of security alert in the notifications >> Select option with activate now.

Note: This method was recommended by Motorola tech support upon receiving complaints regarding the Exchange ActiveSync or EAS error. Hope this solved the issue for you.
