How to Clear Galaxy S8 Browser History
There are a lot of browsers you can find on the Google Play Store. Clearing history on them is different. Here, were talking about the stock browser that comes preinstalled on Galaxy S8. Follow the steps below;
- Open the stock internet browser.
- Tap on the 3 dot menu located on the top right.
- Tap on Settings.
- Select Privacy.
- Inside Privacy section, tap on Delete personal data.
- You will see a list of options. Select the ones you want to erase.
- Tap on the Delete button.
By default, browsing history, cache cookies, and site data will be cleared. You can select additional options; Passwords, Autofill data and Location access data. Login information for sites can be deleted by selecting Passwords. This means that you will have to re-enter the login credentials again after you visit the site. If you have no problem re-entering login info everytime you visit a site, then clear it too.
Note that this method doesn’t clear browsing history of any 3rd party web browsers like Google Chrome. You will have to do so from inside the 3rd party browsers settings. For example, to delete the browsing history of Google Chrome, you’ll need to open it, tap on the 3-dot menu select History and tap on the trash can to clear history one at a time. To perform a bulk deletion, tap on Clear Browsing Data and select the Time Range.
