You’ve come here looking for an answer or an app that can show you who visited your profile, scrolled through your post, and didn’t care to like or follow you. Well, I have bad news for you. Instagram doesn’t track or let you know who has been in your profile. If you have a business account, you have the option to see the number of visitors for the last 7 days but there’s no way of knowing the name of each individual visitor.
You’re probably cursing me at this moment saying there are tons of apps on the market claiming they can help you see the people who visited your profile but didn’t do anything. But do these apps really work? The simple straight forward answer to this question is – Nope. Most of these are just a scam to get some money out of you. And some even go the extra mile to look genuine by picking out random users and telling you they are the ones who visited your profile.
Most of the apps do make it easy for you to keep track of your followers and unfollowers, but Instagram API doesn’t let 3rd party get the information about the visitors. Whilst these app are good for keeping track of your followers, do not get fooled by their assurance of letting you know about your secret visitors. And most importantly, you do not know how these 3rd party apps handle your data or how secure are they. If you’ve recently given access to any shady apps, revoke the access now.
Alternative – Who Visited my Instagram Profile?
If you’re still curious about your secret visitors, then there is a way you can find who they are. The way is through Instagram Stories.
Make your account public and add a story. If you have a secret admirer or a frequent visitor who hasn’t followed you, there’s a good chance that they will view your story out of curiosity. After some time, open your story and tap on the bottom left side where you see the small profile pictures of the users who’ve viewed your story. Tapping on it will show you the full list of all the viewers. If you find users who are on the list but aren’t following you, you’ve found your secret visitors.
Unfortunately, if you’re hellbent on finding your private profile visitor, you can’t. So be careful and don’t get scammed by shady 3rd party apps.
