Now Facebook has introduced a new way to search which it calls “graph search”. This feature will allow you to search for cool stuffs like “what are the best place your friends party”, “books yours friends read”, “photos of people’s vacations to …..” , “people who have similar taste in music as yours” and so on. Now you can even browse single ladies among your friends of friends who have similar interest as yours provided your friends allow such information to be shared.
Facebook has said that the privacy of users will be unaffected since only your friend who perform the search will be able to see your photos or other information.
This feature will also come handy for marketers who want to learn more about as well as target specific interest groups. However, we have yet to see how successful Facebook will be to change the search habits of the Googlers – who are currently the primary drivers of online marketing and advertisement revenues.
