In the latest incident, a father bought his son a refurbished Nindendo 3DS as a Christmas gift from a local Gamestop. LIttle did he know, he was to get more surprise than he bargained for. The previous owner had loaded the 3DS with nine pornographic pictures which the 5 year old would later discover. After knowing of the incident, Gamestop immediately issued an apology and gave the kid a brand new Nintendo 3Ds to put his mind off the EWW images. We don’t know if the father is content with the apology or if he has a lawsuit in mind. Gamestop in another statement insisted that their quality control was rigorous and than while processing millions of refurbished products, an error in one could have occurred.
