Android 5.0 Lollipop is the best version of the operating system till date, with some really cool features. While some of the features are all new, some of them are just like the old, but some are just renovated, that means, the same old features, but presented in a different manner. Same is the case for quick settings, which is very useful for the users, and makes a lot easy to use the smartphones. This is mainly used to enable or disable commonly used features like Bluetooth, wifi and screen brightness of the device. In the versions older than Lollipop, we can swipe down from the top, and click on the settings icon (or just swipe down using two fingers, but only in some devices) to access the quick settings. However, Google has changed the process required for the users to access quick settings, in the Android 5.0 Lollipop. If you are the one who find the quick settings useful, but don’t know the process, here is a guide on how to access quick settings in Android 5.0 Lollipop.

access Quick Settings in Android 5.0 Lollipop

  • To access quick settings in Android 5.0 Lollipop, swipe down from the top  of your screen at first. This way you will get the notification bar down (this is actually for the same purpose), and is similar to the older versions. After you have the notification bar, swipe down again from the top, which will lead you to the Quick Settings.

The way to access quick settings was easy in the older versions like KitKat or Jelly Bean, and now it is even more easier in the Lollipop. In the quick settings bar, you will see the icons of several options (usually to turn on and off) like Bluetooth, WiFi, auto rotate, airplane mode, location, flashlight, cast screen and many more. There will be a brightness toggle option in the top, which will make  you a lot more easier than past to change the brightness settings in your device.
