Lollipop has a lot of new and improved features, for instance the revamped Lollipop Lock Screen. This caused the traditional lock screen widgets to disappear. But fear not as Develop Seth has looked into this problem and created an app that enables widgets on the lock screen. Here’s how to use it.
How to get lock screen widgets in Lollipop
Firstly, you need to install an app called Widget Pager. This app is completely free to use but is ad-supported. You can download it from the Play Store.
After the app is downloaded and installed on your android, now we need to configure the app and begin adding the widgets. Open the app and tap on Configure Widgets and select the widgets you have on your device. You can also change the toggle button’s size. Make sure you’ve enabled the app by tapping on Toggle the widget pager.
You have everything set up. The app is enabled and you’ve added the widgets. Now its tome to access the widgets from the lock screen. Simply tap on the toggle to access the widgets. However, the app will not launch the widgets until you’ve unlocked the device. Tap on the “X” in the middle of the screen to close the widgets.
This app, as stated in the Play Store, is old and the support has been discontinued but it is still one useful app.
