Do you want to play subway surfers, fruit ninja or run Instagram, Twitter, Pulse on your PC? It’s actually pretty simple. All you have to do is download and install an emulator which will allow android goodies to run on your computer.  Here is how you can play or run android games and apps on PC or desktop:

  • Download BlueStacks App Playerhow-to-run-android-apps-on-pc
  • Install and run it
  • From the search bar, search for apps or games you want. You can chose from stores like Google play, Amazon Appstore, Get Jar and 1Mobile Market. However, There won’t be any app descriptions like Google Play Store. (Note: Do not expect all apps or games to run perfectly on emulators.)

You might have previously played Sega, Nintendo or PlayStation games on your PC via their respective emulators. You must have noticed that those emulators were far from perfect. They were laggy, full of bugs, the graphics weren’t what you expected and many of your favorite games didn’t how-to-run-android-apps-on-pceven run. The same thing is true for BlueStacks App Play. You won’t be able to run each and every app and game on Google play store. It is not guaranteed that even the supported ones will run perfectly. Due to resolution incompatibility, many games do not appear in full screen or graphics look poor. However, there are many apps and games that run well on BlueStacks. Go ahead and try them out.

The Beta version of BlueStacks is also available which supports Windows 8 PC and tablets. It is reported by many users that the beta version did not run well on tablets- mostly gave blank screen .
