    • You can’t fix it. The only way is if the NSA or other rogue domestic abusive terrorist entities were to stop cyberstalking and hacking into your conversations. Sorry but this is happening to me and many other innocent-until-proven-guilty Americans on a daily basis.

    • How did you fix it? it only stops popping up when i disable google play services, but i need google play services enabled for my music and other applications to work. please get back to me asap

  1. Hi Sergio,

What did you do to cure the problem with Google Services, how did you know that was the problem and what action did you take, there’s no options but really to force stop these processes that I can see, which would be dangerous.

    • same thing h appened to me twice on my Android netbook.first time, the technician had my device RESET to its factory settings. So easy to reset,he made me pay much. Second time when my charger was destroyed . My device stopped for 2 days surfing activities, and when i bought a new charger, it popped up,so with “The Google Play Services” has stopped”,”The Document” has stopped and “Settings” has stopped. It can’t open wifi on,so I RESET it again for the second time, deleting all my downloaded apps but their data were still in my files. If you don’t like this resetting your device, why not asking HELP from Google itself, like signing in to your Google account, renew & accept their Terms of Service & Policy. If you disable some apps, try enabling it back but be sure ALL your apps & app data were SET to ” automatically restore when reinstalling apps& app data”at the Backup & Restore section of your PERSONAL menu.I also ask some official ways here from Google to fix this issue.

  2. Actually yes, Google Services was the issue for me too, I disabled it, which seemed to uninstall it, then got notifications that other apps needed it, clicked on them, went back in, enabled it, it re-installed, and so far so good.

Before that, I also updated to the latest version of Android on my Galaxy S5.

  3. Tablet is a Chimp make, tried everything but still getting stupid message, any other ideas please? Ive cleared cache, ive deleted basically everything but its still coming up

  4. None of these were the issue. I did however try them before figuring it out for myself. The issue is with google play services itself. Uninstall the updates and it will fix itself. If you look in the play store you will see that many people are having this same issue. Hopefully google fixes this mess quickly.

  5. Thanks, that seems to have solved original error message issue. Then I was getting another error message: “maps will not work without google services update” or something, even though I was not using maps, it kept popping up, every few minutes.
I have updated again, just to see what happens next.
All these comments can be very helpful when trying to solve IT problems.

  6. Error message started yesterday on my S5. Tried all the various fixes I found on many blogs, to no avail, but seems one has to find the fix right for your model of phone. The Google Play Services appears to be the key here. Uninstalled, uninstalled updates and had to “uncheck” the administrator line, temporarily. Rebooted, and reinstalled and it seems ok. At least the constant pop-up of the error message has disappeared for the last half hour. Thanks to all for the correct fix!

    • I can’t uninstall updates the button Is disabled all buttons are disabled except the manage space and when I click it it crash

  7. Hi, im using Micromax a106 lollipop android version. I used the above solutions but it doesn’t waorks on my mobile. Now also it’s showing the same problem continously when im pressing ok.

  8. Hi,

I have tried all the three ways but no luck in MOTO G. I am still getting the below error
“unfortunately the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped”

    Could you please help me.

    Thanks in advance.

  9. Hi. I have rooted my Sony Xperia C and deleted all google apps (playstore, gmail, FB).. and again reinstalled apps but all google apps are dosent work except chrome browser.

  10. I have this problem during power-up on my Moto G XT1039. Since Android doesn’t load, I can’t try any of the suggested fixes. I tried both the factory reset and recovery processes, but the error message still occurs. When I click on OK from the error, I get a quick flash of another error saying that the Launcher can’t load, and then the gapps error reappears. I think my phone is basically dead, but I’d welcome any suggestions!

  11. I have a Verizon tablet and I’ve recently updating Google photos. After I updated it, “Unfortunately, com.google.process.gapps” has been popping up. So, I tried deleting the app, but as soon as I delete it, launcher stops responding, along with other apps. I’ve tried factory resetting it, but it doesn’t work. I’ve also tried going to my settings, but as soon as i click the settings app, it also stops.

  12. Really annoying failure!
On S3 I got rid of the google failure message by clearing Google cache in Applikationmanager, several reboots while adjusting Googleplay setup
