As HTC is working hard for its next flagship, key information about has already been leaked by some “reliable” sources. One of the sources is the ever popular @evleaks, who a few days back tipped that the next HTC Android smartphone would be called HTC M8. The specifications for M8 was even revealed in Antutu benchmark which included the following features- A snapdragon 800 processor, 5 inch 1080p display and 2GB Ram.
Preliminary HTC M8 specs: Snapdragon MSM8974, 5″ 1080p display, 2GB RAM, UltraPixel rear / 2.1MP front cams, 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, KK, Sense 6.0

In the latest leak, Mike1986, a XDA developers member has stated that the HTC M8 would in fact be called HTC One+ and would have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor instead of the Snapdragon 800 processor as suggested by @evleaks. The One+ tag suggests that this device will have some incremental features to its predecessor- HTC One. So, we wouldn’t expect major changes to the overall design and the one+ will probably bear the same metallic design as its predecessor.
The latest leaked specifications for the HTC Ones+:
- OS: Android KitKat 4.4 with HTC Sense 6
- Display: 5 inch 1080p
- Processor: Snapdragon 805
- RAM: 2GB DDR3
- Camera: 8MP Ultra-Pixel rear with 2.1MP Front
- Battery: 2,900mAH
- NFC
After many requests from users the HTC One+ may even come with a microSD slot which is a big plus for people who want to cram up their phones with loads of apps, games, music and movies. Well, as always let’s wait for the official confirmation and hope that the HTC One+ exceeds or at least comes close to its leaked version.
