Android fans are eager about the next version of Android Operating system which was supposed to be called the “Key Lime Pie”. However, not everyone is familiar with the official Florida state pie which meant more Googling about “What is Key Lime Pie?”. Saving us all those search trouble, Google has decided to name the next version of its OS, Android KitKat 4.4. Nestle’s KitKat is a well known chocolate bar and not only the android developers but also most users worldwide are familiar with its taste.
As a part of the deal, Nestle will ship more than 50 million Android logo-ed KitKats across 19 countries. With each purchase of Android KitKats you will even get a chance to win Google Android products such as Nexus 7 and Google Play credits. While many users argue that Key Lime Pie is a better name for the next Android OS, the thought of KitKat brings good tasty/crunchy feelings and that is the exact emotion that Google is trying to associate with Android KitKat 4.4.
KitKat has also released a promo video for Android KitKat 4.4 which clearly mocks Apple’s unnecessarily dramatic iOS 7 promo. If you haven’t watched the iOS 7 promo, you will find the KitKat 4.4 video a bit weird and boring. So, we have laid out both the iOS 7 and Android KitKat 4.4 promo for you to have a laugh.
