Do you remember all the apps you’ve ever installed since you’ve started using Android? There’s no need to try to remember them because you can’t. Fortunately, Google Play Store remembers your entire purchase or download history. So, if you can’t remember the app you used years ago but you need it now, then all you have to do is scroll through your Google Play Store history. On Android, even if you removed the app, it is not truly lost.  If you need the app you uninstalled because you didn’t use it then or maybe because you were running out of storage space on your previous phone, you can search for it on the Google Play Store’s apps library. Here’s how to access Google Play Store history.

Access Google Play Store history

The process is not difficult. After a couple of easy steps, you can see your entire list of apps you’ve ever downloaded on all the device that was signed in to the Google account. Follow the steps below;

Step 1: Open the Google Play Store app.

Step 2: Tap on the hamburger menu icon (the one with 3 horizontal lines). It is located at the top right corner of the screen.

Step 3: Inside the menu are a couple of options, we need the one that says My apps & games. Tap on it.

Step 4: You will find three options inside My apps & gamesUpdate, Installed and Library. You will find apps update on the Update tab. The Installed tab is for the apps that you currently have on the device you’re using. And the final tab is the Library tab. This tab is what we are interested in.

Step 5: Tap on Library to see the list of all the apps you’ve ever downloaded on any device associated with the particular Google account you’re logged in to.

Step 6: Scroll down till you find the app you’re interested in and then tap on Install. If you want to remove the app from the history altogether, you can do so by tapping on the X icon located to the right of the Install button.

This is all. See how easy it is? If the app you’re trying to find was installed on a device years ago, then you may need to scroll a bit further to find it. You can try sorting the list from the sort menu located just beside Not on this device.
