  • Go to, All the Apps > >Find the Google Play Store>> Clear Cache and Data
  • Once you have cleared everything. Next you need to Force Stop the application.
  • Similarly, Find the Google Play Service >> Clear Cache and Data
  • Also, Find Google Services Framework>> Clear Cache and data
  • Now, Restart your device and try to open the Google Play Store.

Clearing Cache and data should fix your issue. if you are still facing the problem, head to the next step.

2nd Solution: Check your Date and Time

In many of the cases it has found that the error is caused due to wrong Date and Time. So, make sure you have the current date and time. Also an additional tip is given below. You can follow that in case your Date and Time is correct.Date and Time

  • Go to Settings >>Date & Time
  • Enable Automatic Date and Time.

Now, check the Google Play store, if you are getting the error or not. If you are not able to fix the issue also try below steps.

  • Set the device to manual and set year to 4 years (wrong date) in the future then open to the Google Play Store.

Delete host file6th Solution: Delete host file (Only for Rooted Devices)

  • First you need to have ES File Explorer app in your device. If you have not installed it then download the ES File Explorer from your browser (Type ES File Explorer apk and then download the app)
  •  Go to Local option >> Select Device (Normally the option may be selected to sdcard. So, change it to Device)
  • You will see many folders >> click on etc folder >> search for the hosts file and delete it.
  • Now, Restart your device and try to open the Google Play Store.

  • A dialogue box will appear >> Read the content and Click on RESET APPS 
  • Now Restart your device and try to Open the Google Play Store.

8th Solution: Factory Reset your Device

  1. I tried all the steps and nothing worked. Then I used the same gmail account in Play as that of my youtube music account and bingo! What a strange Glitch.
