How to Fix Samsung Galaxy S22 Wireless Charging Not Working?
There are a couple of reasons why you might be facing wireless charging issues on your Samsung Galaxy S22 series smartphone. One of the most common causes is not putting the device on the wireless charging pad properly. Other reasons might include:
- Connecting headphones or other devices while charging.
- Using thick cases or covers.
- The adapter is damaged.
- Outdated system software.

Reboot
There have been cases where a smartphone encounters many issues due to a random system malfunction. One of them might have wireless charging capabilities. Therefore, consider restarting the device if you notice that the wireless charger is not functioning. Any crucial services that were broken or have crashed are restarted as a result. Check to determine if your phone is functioning normally after it has been rebooted.
Check for Damages
A faulty cable or adapter is usually to blame for any charging-related problems with phones. The current must properly travel from the power source to the phone. - Go to Settings > Device Care.
- Tap on Battery and then go to Charging.

Disable Fast Charging

Remove the Case
In theory, a wireless charger charges a phone’s battery by transmitting magnetic fields out from the charger to the smartphone. Your phone won’t function properly if something gets in the way of the intermission. When charging your phone wirelessly, you should take off any cases or skins that are attached to the smartphone. Utilize glass back protectors which are compatible with or approved by Samsung if you desire to use one.
Wipe Cache
The ability to charge wirelessly may be impacted if the system cache becomes corrupt. Even if this is generally untrue, it is still something to consider. Furthermore, clearing the system cache won’t damage your device or destroy any data. You must enter recovery mode in order to clear the system cache. First, turn off your phone, then follow the steps below.
- Press and hold the Power and Volume Up buttons.
- Release the buttons after you see the Samsung logo.
- When inside the Recovery, use the Volume buttons to highlight and the Power button to select.
- Highlight Wipe Cache Partition and press the Power button.
- Let the process finish and the device restart.
