Here is a good news for the Nexus series lovers- there has been a new leak of a new Nexus- the Google Nexus 6 (one of the most anticipated Android smartphones of the year), which is also known as Motorola Shamu, and it is via the GFXBench and Antutu benchmarks. This has now confirmed that the new Nexus will be a Motorola device (the two previous ones were made by LG). The alleged test results of the yet to be announced device was published by a Dutch publication, and the benchmarks leaks also show the specs of the Motorola Shamu, which are possible specs of the upcoming device.
The GFXBench test results show impressive results for the Motorola Shamu, which is 714 frames per second, close to that of OnePlus One. The other flagship devices with which the result was compared were Samsung Galaxy S5, Sony Xperia Z2, HTC One M8 and the LG G3. In the Antutu Benchmark, the device flaunts a Snapdragon 805 chipset with a quad-core Krait 450 processor working at 2,65GHz, 3GB of RAM and the Adreno 420 GPU. These are pretty impressive specs, higher than what were rumored before (a Snapdragon 801 processor and an Adreno 330 GPU). It is said that the Motorola Shamu will have a 5.2″ QHD (1,440 x 2,560 pixles) display with around 564 ppi for unmatched sharpness. There will be a 13 MP rear camera, and a 2.1 MP front camera as well. For the software part, the Motorola Shamu aka Google Nexus 6 will obviously have the latest version of Android- the Android L which will probably release at the very same time with the new Nexus Smartphone.
The Nexus 6 is probably going to be released next month- as stated by the Android head Sundar Pichai in the Google I/O 2014 before. The specs are really mind blowing, and the price will also be competent, as Google is always doing good with the prices of Nexus devices. Let’s hope the battery and outlook of the Nexus 6 will also be awesome, and we are desperately looking forward for the release of the device. We will update you with any information available further.
