Have you ever heard a loud beep at the end of a phone call? This annoying bug was reported by a lot of Android users. This loud beep is not an alert for anything, it’s just an annoying loud beep. This bug being exclusive to Android is not exactly an Android bug. It appears to be a Snapchat bug. But do not worry, this is a minor bug with a minor fix. Here’s how to fix loud beep at the end of phone calls on Android.
Fix loud beep at the end of phone calls
The bug can be easily fixed by revoking phone access for Snapchat app. There are 2 ways do it:
Method 1: App Permissions
Step 1: Open Settings app.
Step 2: Go to Apps & Notifications.
Step 3: Inside, tap on App Permissions.
Step 4: Tap on Phone inside App inside App Permissions.
Step 5: You will see the list of apps that have access to the Phone app.
Step 6: Find Snapchat and revoke the permission. And you’re done.
Method 2: App Info
If you don’t see any settings called “App Permissions”, there is a second way to fix the beep.
Step 1: Open Settings.
Step 2: Go to Apps & Notifications.
Step 3: Tap on Apps or App Info.
Step 5: You’ll find a list of all the installed apps.
Step 6: Find Snapchat and tap on it.
Step 7: Tap on Permissions inside Snapchat’s app info screen. Revoke the permission to access the Phone app.
If this didn’t fix the issue or you don’t use Snapchat, try revoking Phone access to all the apps on your device. You can follow the same methods. Unfortunately, you will have to try revoking permission on each and every app till you get your problem fixed.
