[dropcap]E[/dropcap]mojis has become one of the good medium to express ourselves in this today technology world. According to the Social Times report, more than 90 percent of the world’s online population use emoji. So, from here we can know that how much emojis are getting popular among the people around the world. There is a large range of emoji available but we don’t see the emoji that highlight the women’s profession or encourage the young girls.
We can easily find the emojis that highlight the man’s profession and when it comes to women, what we find is, girl painting her nails, cutting hair, wearing different dresses and accessories etc. Early in May, Google proposed a new set of emojis to the Unicode Technical Committee that “represents a wide range of professions for women and men with a goal of highlighting the diversity of women’s careers and empowering girls everywhere,” Google wrote in its proposal.

The Unicode Emoji Subcommittee has agreed to add 11 new professional emoji for both male and female. The best thing about these emoji is, it comes with all the skin tones (colors) which will help to bridge the gap between the people with different skin colors.The 11 new emojis highlight a female or male chef, mechanic, students, welder, business worker, teacher, farmer, rockstar, health worker, scientist and coder.
Unicode has agreed to add female and male versions to 33 existing emoji. For example we can choose both female and male runner emoji, currently male emoji is only available also man and woman getting a haircut, currently woman emoji is only available.
You can get these new emojis in upcoming versions of Android, iOS and other platforms.
