If you had recently bought a high-end smartphone having 64/128 GB internal memory and think that is more than enough for a phone, then you will have to rethink. Saygus V2 turns the long-time wonder to reality, it is released with support up to 320 GB memory.
Other specs of Saygus V2 super-phone are crazy as well. It features a 5-inches Full HD (1920×1080 pixels) IPS capacitive display, which has a pixel density of 445 ppi. The handset is sleek, having dimensions of 67 x 137 x 9.7mm and it weighs just 141 grams, which is pretty light given the dimensions. The phone will have 64 GB of internal memory options with 3 GB of RAM, and there will be two slots of expandable storage option via microSD card upto 128 GB. For the processing power, there will be Snapdragon 801 chipset compiled with 2.5GHz quad-core CPU. For the photography and videography options, this smartphone will have a 21 MP Rear Facing with Optical Image Stabilization, Auto Focus, and Dual LED Flash, and 13 MP Front Facing with Optical Image Stabilization and Auto Focus. The juice will be provided by a user-replaceable 3100 mAh battery. For the connectivity options, there will be LTE support, microUSB v2.0/v3.0, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, NFC, GLONASS and A-GPS. The phone will run on Android 4.4.4 KitKat operating system out of box.
The two memory cards, each of 128 GB and internal 64 GB is what makes the Saygus V2 have 320 GB memory. The phone also have built-in Stereo Speakers with Harman Kardon Sound Technology w/3D Audio for video and Harman Kardon Speakers and Mics with 3 Microphones, along with Noise Cancelling Cypher Sound Technology and that’s not enough to mention. The phone has IPX7 Rating, which is claimed by Saygus to be the first in the market. It is also developer friendly- as the users can boot multiple OSes via microSD card, and as this phone has in-built Root Access option.
The screen is made Sunlight Viewable, which is a Edge-to-edge Borderless Screen and has Front and Back Light Sensors for enhanced screen lighting control. This is also probably the first device to have Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It’s equally strong in the back too- the Kevlar-coated rear case features a stylish gold design flourish that also serves as an extra antenna (boosting your signal by one bar in many cases), and helps the device to be equally light as the rivals. There’s a compact biometric fingerprint sensor located on the side of the V2, which feels more premium and comfortably positioned than Samsung or iPhone’s home button sensor. Other features such as Built-inPower Saving Chip makes this device come with 50% improved battery life, and it also has built-in QI wireless charging too.
The price of the device has not been revealed yet, but Saygus has said that it’s price will be $100 less than other premium smartphones on the market, so we can expect the price to be somewhere around $400 to $600. That will be a good price for the phone, if we compare specs-price ratio. Saygus has said that the phone will be getting Lollipop update soon, but still it is pretty back, for the software part. The pre-orders for this device will start on late January, and will be available for purchase within Q1 2015. It will be available for all US carriers, along with the global launch.
