Barely few months since the release of Samsung Galaxy S4, speculations and rumors regarding Samsung’s next flagship, Galaxy s5, is already headlining many tech blogs and websites. Only recently a supposed Galaxy s5 device was spotted in GFXBench, a popular device benchmarking website. GFXbench showed the benchmarks for a Samsung SM-G900s which is allegedly the codename for Galaxy S5. But those are all guesses and the SM-G900s could in fact be the Note 4. If the device featured in GFX Bench is in fact the Galaxy S5, then it will have the following set of awesome specifications:
- OS: Android Kitkat 4.4
- Processor: 2.4 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8974 chipset with Adreno 330 GPU
- Display: 5 or 5.25 inch, 2560 X 1440 (2K) res with 560 ppi
- Ram: 3GB
- Camera: 16 MP rear
- Battery: 4000 mAH
The benchmark doesn’t reveal details about the internal storage but we could expect 16/32/64 GB variants of the Samsung Galaxy S5.
A Korean publication (ETnews) revealed that the S5 would come in two different variants- A Premium
Samsung Galaxy S5 is expected to be released on January 2014.
