It’s okay to admit they you’ve accidentally deleted a playlist that wasn’t meant to be deleted on Spotify. Whether you’re in a hurry, or your mind was somewhere else, you hit that delete button before realizing it was the wrong playlist. But instead of creating a new one with the tracks you remember, there’s a way to recover those playlists – no matter when you deleted them. Here’s how to recover deleted playlist on Spotify.
Recover deleted playlist on Spotify
You’ve probably looked for a way to recover the playlist deep inside Spotify’s settings. You’ll find none because there is no option to do so on the Spotify’s app. However, you can recover them from Spotify’s website. Here’s how.
Step 1: Open and Login to Spotify’s website
Since you cannot recover deleted playlist from the app itself, you’ll need to login to its website. Go to Spotify’s website and log in. You’ll find a hamburger menu on the top right corner of the screen. There, you will find an option to log in. Enter your credentials, tap on Log In, and you’re in.
Step 2: Recover
After you’re logged in, you will enter a page called Account Overview. This is, as the name suggests, an overview of your account. Tap on the bar that says Account Overview to access a drop-down menu. Scroll down till you find Recover Playlists option. Tap on it to see a list of every playlist you’re ever deleted.
You will see the name of the playlist, how many tracks it contained, and when was it deleted. On the bottom right of the name of each deleted playlist, you’ll find a button that says Restore. Select it to recover that particular playlist. Restored playlists will be highlighted in green.
