Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update is available for OnePlus One in the form of Official Cyanogen OS 13. This will update your OnePlus One running Cyanogen OS version 12.1.1-YOG7DAS2K1 to 13.0-ZNH0EAS26M. The OTA update has already started rolling out but if your internet connection is not reliable or slow, you can manually download the flashable zip and update your phone in your leisure time. This update brings a lot of security fixes, performance optimizations along will some other new features. Follow the steps below to to manually flash Cyanogen OS 13 on OnePlus One. Note that your device must be running a unrooted Stock ROM with Stock Recovery. Just to be in the safe side, backup all you important data.
Before you flash:
- This guide is only applicable if you are updating from YOG7DAS2K1 to ZNH0EAS26M.
- Make sure your device is fully charged.
- Backup any necessary data.
Flash Cyanogen OS 13 on OnePlus One
Step 1: Make sure you device is not rooted and has stock recovery.
Step 2: Download ZNH0EAS26M Incremental OTA update zip. The update file size is around 485 MB.
Step 3: Copy the zip in the Download folder of your device’s internal storage.
Step 4: Reboot into your device’s recovery. To do so, power off your device > press and hold the Power + Volume Down button simultaneously until you see the OnePlus logo.
Step 5: Tap on Apply Update > choose from internal storage > /0 > Download > select the downloaded flashable zip file.
Step 6: After the installation is over, go to the main screen and wipe cache partition. Restart your device by selecting Reboot system now.
The initial boot may take upto 15 minutes so be patient. After it finishes booting, confirm the installation bt checking the OS version located in About phone.
