Nokia, after a long time Microsoft has bought its mobile unit, is trying to revive as a smart device manufacturer. We can assume this simply because Nokia has now announced a new tablet- the Nokia N1 which will have quite the high end specifications.
While discussing about the specs of the Nokia N1, it features a 7.9-inch 1536 x 2048 pixels IPS LCD capacitive display, which has a pixel density of 324 ppi. The tablet sports a sleek profile with dimensions 200.7 x 138.6 x 6.9 mm and weighs 318 grams, which is quite heavy but is fine given the display size. The tablet will have 32 GB of internal memory, with no any option of expandable storage. It has 2 GB RAM, and for the processing power, there will be a Intel Atom Z3580 chipset complied with a Quad-core 2.3 GHz CPU, and an PowerVR G6430 GPU for gaming and graphics. For the photography and videography options, this tablet will have a 8 MP primary camera with autofocus, which can capture videos upto 1080p @ 30 fps, and a 5 MP secondary camera for video calls and selfies. The juice will be provided by a Non-removable Li-Ion 5300 mAh battery. For the connectivity options, there will be InfraRed, microUSB v2.0 with reversible connector, Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi. The tablet will run on Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system, which is the latest version of Android till date, and will have the Nokia’s Z launcher in its top. The tablet will be of unibody metal design, and will be available only in Aluminium and Lava Gray color options.
This tablet will not support SIM card, and hence this will be a WiFi-only device. The Nokia N1 is said to be available in China from February 2015 for a price of just $250 (without the taxes), and nothing is said about the release of it in the international markets yet. We hope it to launch in our home market soon, so that we can also get the chance to use the new awesome tablet by Nokia! We will update you with any information further available.
