Verizon has officially announced Motorola Droid Ultra Mini, Droid Ultra and Droid MAXX. These devices will be available to the customers on August 20. Now Motorola will be exclusively producing the Droid family devices for Verizon Wireless. After all the leaks and rumors we finally have the official specs for these devices. All of them have the same snapdragon dual core processor, 2 GB RAM, a unibody design and each have some strong points. For example- The Droid Mini is the smallest device, at 7. 2mm the Droid Ultra is the thinnest in the series and Droid MAXX has the highest battery life (48 hrs!!).

All of these devices come with cool software features like Droid Zap, Touchless Control, Active Display and Quick capture. With Droid Zap you can simply use swipe your two fingers up to upload a file to the cloud. Active Display will show notifications on your screen when it is in sleep mode. Another feature, like we saw in the Roger’s leaked video of Moto X, allows you to twist your wrist to bring up the camera.
Prices:
The Droid Mini, Ultra and MAXX will be available on retail stores for $99, $199 and $299 on a two year contract with Verizon Wireless. The retail price for the sim-free devices would cost $499, $599 and $699,
There is also an Employee Edition Motorola Droid Ultra which is available for $99.99 with a 2 years contract with Verizon. This edition of Ultra has a red stripe on the back cover.
