This is a simple but assuring way of telling you that the service you are using on a certain account is yours. There is a similar indication on Android 10’s lock screen but it doesn’t show your photo by default. We can change that. Follow this guide to change that. It is simple and takes no time. The first thing we need to do is set up a profile picture. To do so, follow the steps below;
Step 1: Open system Settings. It is the gear icon on quick settings or on your app launcher.
Step 2: Find and tap on System.
Step 3: Tap on Multiple users.
Step 4: You will find 2 users – you and a guest. You need to select your profile and not the guest one.
Step 5: Tapping on your profile will make a popup appear. Tap on the avatar image.
Step 6: A second popup will appear when you tap on the avatar image. Here’s you can choose to take a new photo or select an existing one from the gallery.
Step 7: If you choose to take a new photo, the camera app will open and you can take a photo of yourself. If you choose to upload an existing one, the gallery app will open and you can choose an old photo of your self.
Step 8: After you select a photo, you need to crop it to fit in the circle. Tap on Done when you’ve finished editing.
Step 9: Now go back to the lock screen and you will see that picture you’ve selected on the top right corner. The same picture will also appear on the lower right corner of the Quick Settings.
