It is always frustrating when you get disturbed by a WhatsApp notification and you open the phone to check it out just to see the sender deleted the message. This leaves you curious and confused. However, what if I tell you there is a way you can see those deleted messages? Well, you can, and it’s easy. Here’s how to see deleted messages on WhatsApp.
See deleted messages on WhatsApp
Before we begin, it is important to note that this method only lets you see the messages that are deleted after you’ve installed the app mentioned in this guide. All messages that have been deleted prior to installing this app will not be recovered. So, let us begin.
The app we’re about to use for this tutorial is called WhatsTool. Apart from letting you see deleted WhatsApp messages, this app also comes with features like profile search, direct chat, and more. This app works even I the phone is locked. The only time it won’t work is if the internet is turned off on your smartphone and the sender deletes the message before your turn the internet back on again. It stores the messages with the app and lets you see them even if the sender deletes them.
Follow the steps below.
Step 1: Open Play Store and search for WhatsTool. You can use this link to the Google Play Store too.
Step 2: Install the app.
Step 3: Open the app.
Step 4: Grant all the permissions.
Step 5: Now, tap on the “recover deleted messages” icon from the main menu.
Step 6: Tap on “start recovering messages”.
Step 7: Enable WhatsTool for WhatsApp to ready the app information.
This is it. All your messages will be shown on the Chats screen within WhatsTool. Now, whenever a user sends a message and deletes it before you get the chance to view it, you’ll still be able to see the deleted message from WhatsTool. You cannot replay using WhatTool, you can only view messages.
