Xiaomi’s Redmi lineups are great without a doubt, but that doesn’t mean they are perfect. I do not blame them though. These things happen no matter how perfect you try to build the device. This article focuses on one specific and annoying issue that has been bothering Redmi Note 9 Pro users. This particular issue is related to the camera and its failure to run properly. Here’s how to fix camera issue in Redmi Note 9 Pro.
Fix camera issue in Redmi Note 9 Pro
This issue seems to affect some of the Redmi Note 9 users. Some users have no problem using the camera and claim that it is running as intended without any issue. Furthermore, this issue doesn’t seem to affect Note 9 and Note 9 Pro Max.
When users try to open the camera on their Redmi Note 9 Pro, the camera fails to open and throws an error that says “Can’t connect to camera” and doesn’t let in. The only thing you can do is close the message and force stop the camera app. Moreover, some are complaining that they are being kicked out of the camera app after a few seconds even if they manage to get in, and some users are saying that the camera simply crashes when trying to operate.
So how do you get rid of this issue? Well, I have good news and bad news. The good news is you can fix it, the bad news is you can’t fix it permanently, at least till Xiaomi rolls out an update. You have to use this fix every time you get the error. Follow the steps below.
Step 1: Open System Settings.
Step 2: Scroll down and find Apps.
Step 3: Select Manage Apps.
Step 4: Find the Camera app.
Step 5: When inside Camera app settings, look at the bottom. You’ll find the Clear Data option.
Step 6: Tap on Clear Data and then tap on Clear all data and Clear cache.
This should fix this issue for now. You’ll be able to use the camera normally without an issue, but this fix doesn’t guarantee that this error won’t return in the future. In that case, you have to repeat the steps again.
