LG G4 is set to be unveiled on April 28

LG G3, LG’s past year’s flagship got an not so bad (and not so good either) feedback from the smartphone markets. With some nice features, it had several flaws, such as it was one of the first smartphones to have a 2K display, but operating on Snapdragon 801 chipset kinda ruined the performance. It also had the power button in the back, which was quite an innovative and awesome experience for the users. In case of update, LG did so late. The company hasn’t provided the Android Lollipop OTA for this device till date, and only a few customers can update the device via LG Support Tool.

LG G4 is set to be unveiled on April 28

The successor of the LG G3, the LG G4 is set to be unveiled on April 28, as said by the LG officials. The Korean giant sent out save the date press invites for the unveiling of its next generation flagship smartphone. The unveiling will be done in a relatively large press event, which is going to be held globally, mainly to benefit and publicize the LG G4. It will take place in New York, London, Paris, Seoul, Singapore, and Istanbul.

The phone has already leaked a few times before. Followed by the leaks, the LG G4 had also appeared in the GFX Benchmark database, making the geeks pretty sure about the key specs it is going to have. The rumored specs of the LG G4 are Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chipset with hexa-core CPU, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and 5.5” QHD display. There will be a 16MP main camera and 8MP front-facing snapper on board.

The manufacturer has sent out the invites along with a picture (which is shown above) having tagline ‘see the great, feel the great’, which means the phone will obviously have some great and innovative features compared to its rivals. LG is on the hard struggle phase now, and it is barely selling any handsets in the market. The companies such as Huawei, Xiaomi and other similar ones have already surpassed LG in case of smartphone sales, and we are to see if the company’s upcoming flagship keeps up its expectation. Stay tuned.
