Huawei has finally implemented the “notch” on the P20 and P20 Pro just like any other major smartphone maker in 2018. The notch here is smaller than that of the Apple X and there’s even an option to hide the notch by displaying black bars on the top of the screen. Huawei claims the notch ultimately contributes to more screen real estate but not everyone will agree on this.

Triple Leica camera

The P20 has a Leica dual camera with a 12MP RGB and 20MP monochrome sensor combo whereas the the P20 Pro sports a Leica triple camera.  Huawei claims it has the most advanced camera system on any smartphone till date. We are all aware more megapixels in a smartphone camera does not necessarily result in better photos. But, with an 8MP telephoto lens with an f/2.4 aperture, a 40Mp RGB sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and a 20MP monochrome lens with an f/1.6 aperture, the P20 Pro is said to outmatch even the Pixel 2 in night photography.

Huawei has seemed to put a lot of effort in making the triple camera feature stand out. Will the world’s first triple smartphone camera live up to its expectations? What do you think? Please let us know in the comments below
