You don’t know when an idea or a thought strikes you. You may be walking, driving or even showering. This is where Google Assistant comes in handy. In this day and age, you do not need to physically write a note; you can instead tell your personal digital assistant to do it. When you use the command “Note to self” or “Take a note” on Google Assistant, it’ll save whatever you say next on the note app that you have chosen. You get to choose the default note app when using the command for the first time. So what if you want to change the default note app? You can do that easily. Here’s how to change note app on Google Assistant.
Change Note App on Google Assistant
The procedure is simple. Follow the steps below;
Step 1: Open Google Assistant. You can do this either by speaking the command “Ok, Google” or by long pressing the home button if your device has one.
Step 2: Use the command “Create a note” or “Note to self”.
Step 3: There, you will see a text saying “Note to self”. Tap on it.
Step 4: You will see all the supported note apps that you can replace the current note app with.
If you have different apps for taking different types of notes, you do not have to follow each of the above steps to switch between apps. There is another way.
When you say the command “Create a note” or “Note to self”, all the things you say after will be saved on the note app that you’ve chosen as default. So what if you want to save it to another app? To do so, you need to add a few words into the command. Instead of just saying “Create a note” or “Note to self”, say “Create a note in Keep” or any other app of your choice.
