After a huge success of the last year’s wide appreciated Xiaomi Mi3 flagship, its successor, the Xiaomi Mi4 set to be announced officially by the Chinese smartphone maker this July 22, as suggested by the reports.
This is not a leak, however, the announcement date of the flagship was teased in Weibo by Lei Jun, the company’s president. The tease was actually an image, which doesn’t show that much, but a large ‘4’ number, with some writings in Chinese below it, which can be translated as “The journey of a piece of steel metal”. The Xiaomi is always renowned all over the world for its offering of high-end flagship specs at a miraculous pricing, and the Xiaomi Mi4 will follow the trend of it.
Though the specs of the upcoming flagship by Xiaomi has not leaked that much, but still, it will have the trending high-end specs. As expected, the Xiaomi Mi4 will have a 5.2 inches Full HD Display, processed by a powerful Snapdragon 805 Processor, and will be supported by a 3 GB RAM. For the internal memory options, there will be probably 32 GB with expandable storage option, and a 3300 mAh battery. The camera will be most probably be a 13 MP one, while for the connectivity options, the president has already confirmed that the upcoming flagship will come with LTE support. The phone will have the Android 4.4.4 KitKat most probably, as the Android L is not out yet, and will have a MI UI skin. For the price point, lets hope the Xiaomi Mi4 will be priced wrt its predecessor, which will be less than most of the flagships available in the market.
We all are restlessly waiting the date when the Xiaomi Mi4 will be officially announced, and lets hope the company will manage somehow with the distribution, which means, Xiaomi really needs to manage the worldwide distribution of the phone immediately, unlike the Xiaomi Mi3. We will update you with any further information available, and obviously with all the details when the Xiaomi Mi4 will be officially announced. Keep in touch.
