Sony has recently announced a set of two new mid ranger Xperia smartphones- which are called as Sony Xperia C3 and C3 Dual. These two phones have almost the same except one that is the C3 dual has a dual sim-card slot, as its name suggest.
The C3 and C3 dual have a 5.5 inches IPS LCD Display of 720 X 1280 pixels, which will have the pixel density of 267 ppi. Physically the phone will measure 156.2 x 78.7 x 7.6 m, and weigh 149.7 grams. The phones will be available with the internal memory of 8 GB, with an expandable storage via microSD card of upto 32 GB. For the processing power, the Qualcomm MSM8926 Snapdragon 400 Quad core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7 CPU, and a Adreno 305 GPU, which will be supported by the 1 GB RAM. It will have a 8 MP primary camera which will record up to 1080p videos @ 30fps, and for the selfies and video calls, there will be a secondary camera of 5 MP (this shows that the video call is one of the major priorities of this smartphone). The juice for all this will be provided by a Li-Ion 2500 mAh battery, which is claimed to give a talktime of 25 hours in 3G. There will be LTE support in the Xperia C3, but in the dual sim version, there will only be 3G support. For other connectivity options, there will be microUSB v2.0, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi and NFC. The phone will have the Android 4.4.2 KitKat Operating System, and will be available in Black, White and Mint color options.
Sony is always good with the system updates, and if priced competitively (the specs are almost similar to that of the Moto G, and we hope it to be priced accordingly), the Xperia C3 and C3 dual are sure to be a hit in the smartphone market. The Xperia C3 and C3 Dual are going to release most probably these August, and we will update you with the details of the prices whenever available.
