Pokémon Go is awaited in India,China and South Korea

Pokémon Go is now available in many countries in Asia but the three major Asian countries –China, India and South Korea are still deprive of Pokémon Go. India is the world’s second- largest mobile market and has one billion mobile phone subscribers. It isn’t clear why Niantic is holding the launch in India. It may be because huge population playing at once may cause problem in the servers and also Niantic should manage all the stuff of the game before launching in India as the country has huge area and population.

China and South Korea are two countries having huge gaming market. According to App Annie’s data Chinese smartphone users spend more money on games on iOS than US and Japan.  Niantic previously said that regulations and security issues regarding Google Maps are making more complicated as the game is dependent on Google Maps.
Google’s map information system in Korea is limited due to security concerns over North Korea. In China, however, it is technically possible, but difficult to introduce due to the many hurdles, or should I say regulations we’d have to clear to get it to users- By Niantic.
The level of desperate is too high in India and china. People are using VPN’s to change their locations and catch Pokemon in their country. It has also found that gamers in India have used accounts linked to US or UK based app stores to download the game. They have also downloaded the game via third-party app and torrents.  For South Korea, Pokémon Go is available only in the city named as Sokcho. Because of the Pokémon Go availability in Sokcho, the people are going in large number to play the game.

The main question remains when Niantic will officially lauch Pokémon Go in these three major Asian countries. Well, we can just wait and watch.
