One thing you need to keep in mind is that this version is only available for Google’s own device – Nexus and Pixel. Since this is only a test version or beta, you will experience bugs. So don’t install it hoping to make it your daily driver. This is just for experiencing the version beforehand.

So let’s begin, shall we?

Google has made it easy to sign up for testing, provided you have the newer pure Android devices. The list currently contains Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P or any Pixel device. If you have any of these devices, head over to Google’s Android Beta Program website and log in to your Google account. Once you log in, you will be taken to a page containing all the thing you need to know about the program, such as warnings and disclaimers. Google warns that the updates may contain errors which may affect the functionality of your device; so it is a good idea to back up all your data first.

You will be the list of eligible devices in the middle of the webpage. Find your device and tap on the Enroll button located next to it. You will be taken to a disclaimer screen; just check the box and select Join Beta.install Android O

Once the beta is available, you’ll get a notification on your device. If you don’t, you can check System updates inside your About phone. And after the version releases publicly, you will be able to install that too. If your device is unlocked or flashed, you can install the beta version by grabbing a copy from Google Developers website.
