How to take a screenshot on Samsung Galaxy Alpha

Samsung released a premium, metal-framed smartphone Samsung Galaxy Alpha to compete with Apple’s iPhone. It has a 4.7 inch HD AMOLED display, an octa-core processor and most importantly a beautiful metal-framed body. But we are not here to talk about how great the phone is; we are here to know how we can take a screenshot with the phone.

Methods to take a screenshot on Samsung Galaxy Alpha.

Method 1: The Software Method

The phone uses a screen swipe gesture to take screenshots where you have to slide your hand from one side of the screen to another. It is pretty easy to use but you have to enable the gesture from the settings. Just go to Settings > Motions and Gestures > Palm swipe to capture and turn it on. Now you can take screenshots by touching the screen by the side of your hand and swiping it across from left to right or vice versa.samsung galaxy alpha tke screenshot software method

Method 2: The Hardware Method

This method is common in almost all the Samsung devices. You just have to press and hold the Home button and the Power button at the same time to take a screenshot. You’ll see a notification on the status bar saying “saving screenshot”. Swipe down the status bar to edit, delete or share the screenshot.
