With the advancement in the specifications of the Android smartphones and tablets, the size of the battery contained inside them is also getting bigger. With the increasing capacity of the battery, the devices’ endurance rating is also increasing. The OS and specs also consume a lot of battery charge, and hence, we have to charge our device more frequently than before. There are different solutions for the problem of quick battery discharging in Android, like the power banks, turbo chargers etc. But it is the fact that these items are not always in our possession. Google has put the built-in option to enable Battery Saver Mode on Android 5.0 Lollipop the latest version of Android. It is a real nice feature for the users, since we now onwards no more have to install a third party app for the battery saving mode. Swipe down all the way on the notification tray until you see the battery percentage. Tap the battery icon. Click on the menu button and tap Battery Saver. You can enable it here. OR;
- Go to Settings >> Battery >> Menu >> Battery Saver. You can enable it.
When you try to enable the battery saver mode using either of the methods, you will get three options- Never, at 5% battery, or at 15% battery. You can select either of them, whichever you are most comfortable to, and once the battery charge reaches down to that level, the Battery Saver Mode on Android 5.0 Lollipop will be enabled automatically. While you plug in your device, it will turn off itself, which is all at your ease.
