In regard to finding the missing settings &#039;widget,&#039; you might find your answer in the link appended to this comment.  Apparently you need to pinch the home screen page as if your going to delete it, then it&#039;s located at the bottom of the page separately from widgets... I don&#039;t own a Samsung myself so I cant verify.
