This annoyingly persistent notification is caused by the battery management system. When it restricts the camera app from running in the background and when the camera app is closed before it finished processing the image, the notification appears and doesn’t go away.
Solution 1: Disable Put to sleep option
The 1st thing you can do to get rid of this notification is altering a setting on the process management system. You can turn off the background processing management that restricts the camera app from working in the background.
Step 1: Go to Settings.
Step 2: Scroll down and tap on Device Care.
Step 3: Select Battery.
Step 4: Find the Camera app and tap on it.
Step 5: Disable Put To Sleep option. Enable Allow Background Activity.
Solution 2: Update the app
This should be the easiest and sensible thing to do to get rid of this issue. Samsung has rolled out an update just to fix this issue. All you need to do is update the camera app.
Step 1: Open the Camera app.
Step 2: Tap on the gear icon located at the top left corner to get to the app’s settings.
Step 3: Scroll down and tap on About Camera.
Step 4: Tap on Update. Doing this will take you to the app’s Galaxy Store page.
Step 5: Tap on Update.
Solution 3: Clear Cache
If any of the above solutions didn’t work, which is highly unlikely, you can try clearing the app’s cache and see if that fixes the issue.
Step 1: Go to Settings.
Step 2: Tap on Apps.
Step 3: Tap on the 3-dot menu icon at the top right corner.
Step 4: Tap on Show System Apps.
Step 5: Scroll through the list of apps and find Camera. Tap on it.
Step 6: Tap on Storage and then hit the Clear Cache button.
