Have you logged signed into Facebook recently? And I don’t mean clicking on your bookmark or tapping the Facebook icon on your smartphone; I’m talking about when was the last time you actually entered your username and password to sign into Facebook? Probably a year ago. Facebook has become such essential part of our live, we leave our accounts signed in on trusted devices because we know we will come back after maybe half an hour. Considering this, Facebook added Profile Picture Login feature on it mobile app. if you decide to take a break from Facebook and come back later, this makes it easier to log in. This feature is not enabled by default and you have to give special permissions to enable it. Here’s how to enable Profile Picture Login on the Facebook app.
How to enable Profile Picture Login on the Facebook app
Facebook prompts you to enable Profile Picture login when you log out of the Facebook app. you will also be offered to turn it on when you uninstall the app from your device and install it again. After you’re past the main login screen, you can turn it on. When you login next time, you can just press the displayed profile picture instead of type username and password. You can add an optional 4-digit pass-code too.
If you don’t want this feature anymore and want to disable it, simply open Facebook from your desktop. Go to Settings from the drop-down arrow located at the top right corner of the page. There, select Privacy. Now, scroll down till you see the setting called Profile Picture Login. Click on it to expand and then click on the device you want to remove this feature from. Profile Picture Login will be disable from that device only. If you have enabled this feature on multiple devices, you will need to remove it from each one.
