As much as we love the new Galaxy S9 and all the power it comes loaded with, there are still a few annoying things that we wished didn’t exist, one such annoying feature was the constant notification telling you how many apps are using the battery. We covered the solution to this annoying problem in one of our other articles, but that isn’t the only annoyance Galaxy S9 has. There is another persistent notification that notifies you about the apps that era drawing over other apps. This could be important information for some while others may not even care. Whatever the case may be, this notification gets annoying after some time. You can, however, disable Displaying over other apps notification on Galaxy S9. Here’s how.
Disable Displaying over other apps notification
The process of removing this notification is pretty similar to the steps we followed when removing the notification about the apps that are consuming the battery.
Step 1: Swipe down the notification panel.
Step 2: Swipe right on the Displaying Over Other Apps notification.
Step 3: You will notice a gear icon. This is the Settings icon. Tap on it.
Step 4: You will get into the Notification Settings. Scroll down till you find Display Over Other Apps sub-settings.
Step 5: There, tap on the toggle next to Navbar Apps displaying over other apps.
This will turn the notification off. You can enable it again by following the steps mentioned above. You can disable other notifications this way. Just go to the Notification Settings and tap on the toggle net to the name of the notification. However, not all notification can be disabled. Some are just too critical to ignore. Disable the notifications you do not need to see to clear up your notification panel.
