While discussing about the specs, the BlackBerry Porsche Design P’9983 features a 3.1-inch 720 x 720 pixels capacitive display, which has a pixel density of 328 ppi along with a QWERTY keyboard beneath the display. The handset sports a sleek profile with dimensions 119 x 67.1 x 10.6 mm and weighs 140 grams. The phone will have 64 GB internal memory, with an option of expandable storage upto 128 GB via microSD card. It has 2 GB RAM, and for the processing power, there will be a Qualcomm MSM8960 Snapdragon chipset complied with a Quad-core 1.5 GHz Krait CPU, and an Adreno 225 GPU for gaming and graphics. For the photography and videography options, this smartphone will have a 8 MP primary camera with geo-tagging, LED Flash, and autofocus, which can capture videos upto 1080p@30fps, and a 2 MP secondary camera for video calls and selfies. It will have a sapphire glass for the camera lens as well. The juice will be provided by a Li-Ion 2100 mAh battery, which is claimed to give a talktime of upto 14 hours in 3G. For the connectivity options, there will be LTE support, microUSB v2.0, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi and NFC. It will run on BlackBerry 10.3 OS operating system. The phone will be available only available in Black color in the markets.

The phone has strong point in its storage options, having a 64 GB internal memory with expandable storage is awesome. Though the specs are not much great compared with the rival android flagships, these will work good with the BlackBerry OS though. Inside the box, premium stereo headset, an international charging kit, a polishing cloth, and a USB cable. The metallic finish will give this phone a premium feel. In addition to this, there will be handcrafted leather backdoor accessories available in color options of yellow, Blue Green, Dark Brown, Pomegranate, Paloma Grey, Salsa, Blue and Orange.

The BlackBerry Porsche Design P’9983 will most probably be available in the Porsche Design stores from the mid-October, followed by the major carriers and retailers worldwide thereby. For the price point, though the price is not yet revealed, it is pretty sure that it will be priced quite high, outside the reach of middle class people. This is only for the luxurious people, who like to show off with their expensive items. Hence, we can say that this phone is strongly not going to be value for money.
