Apple recently announced the two long-rumored and awaited phone of this year- the iPhone 6 and its larger version- the iPhone 6. Apple has ridiculously increased the size of the new iPhones, whooping the iPhone 6 to 4.7 inch and the iPhone 6 plus to 5.5 inch. While the display resolutions are increased to maintain the pixel count of the devices, some of the key specs are also upgraded with some still remaining the same. Lets take a glimpse on the specs of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus:

Along with the above listed basic specs, both the iPhone 6 models will have 500 dpi pixel density fingerprint sensor, which was included in its predecessor. Both the devices will be available in Space Gray, Silver and Gold color options in the market, following the trend of previous devices. The features of camera has been improved, even though the megapixels remain the same. The Apple’s snappy new 64-bit A8 chipset are also said to be more powerful- claimed to be 50 percent more energy efficient (not to mention a hair smaller) than the the A7 that graced earlier models, and about 25 percent more powerful to boot.
For the price point, the 16GB iPhone 6 starts at $199 on a two-year contract, $299 for 64GB and $399 for 128GB. Likewise, the iPhone 6 Plus starts at $299 for 16GB, $399 for 64GB and $499 for 128GB. Both the devices will be available in the market from September 19, but the pre-order will start on September 12. While the iPhones always have been expensive, the price of the new iPhone 6s is also as expected. We’ve to see how it hits the market, this is sure to be loved by Apple fanboys, but is it good enough for other OS users to shift themselves towards it?
