Ubuntu has announced that it will soon release a Smartphone version of its OS. All the Smartphones running on Google’s android will support Ubuntu. All the desktop functionalities will now soon be available for smartphones. The first Ubunto OS handsets are set to launch in 2014. However, rumors are that those handsets will support Ubuntu only apps. This year, the company is planning to ship the android devices featuring “Ubuntu on Android,” a solution that lets you dock your Android phone and enable it as a full-fledged desktop computer. When you’re away from your desk, you can use your phone as a normal Android handset.
