To summarize, this app will help you become part of a closely knit community of people of similar taste in music. Furthermore, its a platform to discover some great music. It is a highly recommended app if you eat, breath and speak music.
Now that you know what TuneWiki is, the developers of this app are organizing their first ever virtual music festival called WikiFest, a music and art festival. Currently the users of TuneWiki have a new update in their news feed which gives them the option to vote for artists they would like to see at WikiFest. Voting is done by sharing your favorite artist’s song in TuneWiki and tagging it with #wikifest. Users are allowed to cast one vote per artist till April 26.
The live results of the artists lineup so far can be seen at Tunewiki.com/Wikifest and also within the app in the WikiFest tab of Now Playing option in the app homepage.
From the votes so far, the top 20 lineups include the following artists:
- One Direction
- Bruno Mars
- Rihanna
- LInkin Park
- Taylor Swift
- Metallica
- Avenge Sevenfold
- Justin Bieber
- Demi Lovato
- Adele
- Coldplay
- Paramore
- Eminem
- Guns N Roses
- Katy Perry
- Green Day
- Nirvana
- David Guetta
- The Beatles
- Red Hot Chilli Pepper
One Direction at top and Beatles way down??? Yes, the list is a bit weird. It seems the majority votes came from teenage girls. But that will change once you become part of TuneWiki ‘s mature music groups and then vote for real artists. If you would like to be a part of this festival download TuneWiki from Google Play, setup your profile and then cast your votes.
