There are numerous apps on the Play Store that claim to record calls on Android but only few actually deliver. But it is not totally their fault. There are just too may phones out there for a single app to support them all. An app that works on a phone may not do the same on an entirely different phone. However, this is not the case anymore. Record Android Phone Calls: Install Boldbeast Call Recorder
This is the app that brings call recording functionality on almost every Android device. Boldbeast Call Recorder is available for free on the Google Play Store. This app is easy to use and will require minimal setup before being fully functional. And it doesn’t require root access, that is for most of the devices.
Record Android Phone Calls: Supported Device
On most of the device, Boldbeast Call Recorder uses Bluetooth connection to record audio. This means that you don’t need to have root access and all you have to do is open the app and forget about it. Below is the list of all the supported devices. Record Android Phone Calls: Configure Boldbeast Call Recorder (rooted devices)
For those devices that were not the above list, your device will have to be rooted to use Boldbeast Call Recorder then you have to configure it. Go to Settings > Call Settings and then tap on Fix Recording Issues. Then tap on “Enable Rooted Options” and tap “Enable”. Grant the superuser access when prompted. Now you need to adjust a few options. The configuration will vary according to your device. Bow is the list of settings for two Nexus devices.

Record Android Phone Calls: Record Calls
Now that everything is set up, you can now record your phone calls. Just make a phone call and you will see a small “Record” button near the top left corner of your screen. Simply tap that button to start recording calls. After hanging up the phone, tap the “Record” button again to stop recording.
Record Android Phone Calls: Access Recordings
Simply open the Boldbeast Call Recorder app and tap he phone icon on the top of your screen to find all your recordings. If you need to copy the recordings, you can find them on your SD Card inside “BBRec” folder.
