my tab using nougat 7.1.1..my gallery , my files , chrome etc..keep closing and crashed. I find the update caused the problem. once i uninstall the update, apps working normal. can play any files from memory card.

I found another way to solve this problem: go to Settings->Apps and tap the “Configure apps” gear icon. Next tap “Modify system settings”, select Gallery from the list of apps and turn on the toggle.
This method worked for me and fixed the issue with the Gallery app on my Acatel PIXI 4.

On Samsung devices I believe the method is slightly different: go to Settings->Apps, tap the overflow (three dots) menu and select the “Special access” option. Next tap “Apps that can change system settings”, find Gallery from the list of apps and turn on the toggle.
